About Me
Hi! I'm Tom Gimpel, a local photographer and year-round resident of the Jersey Shore passionate about capturing the beauty of this area and turning it into timeless family portraits. As a kid, I grew up taking pictures -and even built my own darkroom in my basement in high school. In my college years, I continued to hone my craft as a wedding and portrait photographer while pursuing my degree. Back then, summers always meant going "down the shore" to the beaches of New Jersey. Today, I'm blessed that to call the coastal landscapes of Strathmere, Sea Isle City, Ocean City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Wildwood, and Cape May my home. And as a full-time resident of the beach at Strathmere, NJ, I'll bring over 40 years experience behind the lens to your photo session.
